catering for each child's individual needs
Happy Steps Childcare believes in the value of early education for young children in secure, warm and nurturing environments. Our aim is to provide the best professional care and early education for your child. Our goal is to nurture their development in every way possible and provide them with a happy and solid foundation for life.
Every child is special and every child is unique, we cater for each child’s individual needs. Our staff are dedicated to getting to know every child as an individual to help them develop to their full potential. And most importantly we offer support, love and lots of affection to help children feel happy and secure in their ability.
We value each child as an individual with individual needs and will promote freedom of expression and independence at all times.
We believe in the power of play and the importance of play as a learning vehicle. We provide a wide range of early learning opportunities and experiences with the child at the centre of everything that we do. We nurture early learning and development by implementing a play based emergent curriculum across all our care rooms.
Our curriculum provides a broad range of learning experiences and activities which responds to the child's emerging interests and are tailor made to meet the changing needs of each child. Our curriculum promotes learning and development under the four themes of Aistear: Well Being, Communication, Identity & Belonging, and Exploring & Thinking.Contact Us
Our ethos at Happy Steps is to work in partnership with families ensuring a child centred approach nurturing children's growth, development, imagination and self esteem in the early years. We believe that children are confident and competent and active participants in their own learning. We believe that play is children's natural activity which they use to learn about and make sense of their world around them.
