Healthy Eating KidsHEALTHY EATING

We provide a nutritious, well balanced meal plan to all children in our care. We follow a healthy eating policy, with the aim of forming good habits around food early in life. Meal-time is also an important social time, for chatting together, and for little jobs assigned to the older children eg. setting the table, helping to serve, clean –up etc.

Our weekly meal plan is posted up on the Notice Board at both centres. We provide breakfast (up to 8.15), a morning snack, hot lunch, afternoon snack, and tea.

All food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by our Cook.

While we do not provide treats regularly, as part of our healthy eating policy, we do have goodies on party days, which are often prepared by the children themselves (messy but fun!)
